Primary Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Respiratory Therapy Manager, the Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for delivering proficient and effective Respiratory Care Services as prescribed by our physicians, adhering to established protocols.

Employment Type

This role is designated as full-time.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Receiving and prioritizing work assignments to optimize the number of procedures conducted.
  • Completing all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Conducting Pulmonary Function tests in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Performing various tests, including:
  • Noninvasive BIPAP/CPAP therapy
  • Pulse oximetry for oxygen titration
  • Administering and monitoring respiratory and therapeutic treatments, including aerosolized medications, sputum inductions, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Possession of a current Florida Respiratory Therapy License (CRT or RRT).
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
