About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Tech Instructor to join our team at Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. As a Surgical Tech Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content to students in various educational settings.
  • Prepare and implement lesson plans, course materials, and assessments to ensure student success.
  • Maintain a positive and conducive classroom environment, promoting student engagement and motivation.
  • Provide regular and constructive feedback to students, addressing their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with current instructional standards, best practices, and industry developments.
  • Participate in faculty and professional development activities, workshops, and meetings to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an associate degree in surgical technology.
  • Hold credentials in surgical technology through a nationally accredited program, certified by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
  • Minimum of four years of clinical experience in surgical technology, with at least two years in the operating room scrub role within the last five years.
