We are seeking a skilled and passionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy in Gainesville. As a key member of our outpatient orthopedic team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, achieving excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, and set measurable, functional goals.
- Treat patients, address their concerns, and educate them on their injury, progress, and probable outcomes.
- Supervise aides in providing modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients, and assist with general setup and cleanup duties.
- Re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care, and reset goals.
- Determine when to discharge patients.
- Write timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes.
- Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, considering the number of referrals and patient type.
- Contribute to the development of protocols for common diagnoses.
- Participate in research studies supported by the clinic.
- Commit to ongoing skill development through company continuing education events and approved courses.
- Embody the clinic's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce.
- Master's or Doctor's degree from an accredited physical therapy curriculum.
- Certification in Physical Therapy and a valid state license to practice.
