Job Title: Engineering Technician

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team at KLA, a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work in the System Engineering group based in Totowa, NJ, integrating and testing the next generation of tools to advance our chemical analysis technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform setup, integration, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems, completing rework as necessary.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • Assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
  • Ability to read technical drawings/procedures and use precision testing and measuring instruments.
  • Previous hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment company or analytical chemical equipment industries is a plus.
  • Experience with integration and testing of technical equipment will be advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve technical problems, set up experiments, and perform data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and people skills are required.
  • Comfortable working in shifts occasionally and cleanroom environment.
