**Job Title:** Senior Principal RF Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal RF Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex RF circuit card assemblies, leading and mentoring junior engineers, and supporting test and troubleshooting of systems, modules, and sub-assemblies of RF modules.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop complex RF circuit card assemblies
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers
  • Support test and troubleshooting of systems, modules, and sub-assemblies of RF modules
  • Interface with engineering, operations, quality, and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause
  • Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput
  • Generate and review technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, and other documentation
  • Interface with governmental customers and suppliers as required
  • Onsite visits to vendors to provide technical support to subcontracts
  • Provide training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as required
  • Support root cause and corrective action activities
  • Mentor peers and more junior engineers in areas of expertise

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 25 years of work experience or experience in RF and analog engineering
  • Working knowledge of the full life cycle of a product from proposal to design to production
  • Communicates clearly and works well in teams

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Chip and wire, SMT, and module level design and integration experience
  • L-Band through V-Band design and integration experience
