About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to establish and maintain working relationships with medical professionals in our service area.

Your primary objective will be to improve out-of-hospital referral sources, facilitating timely and efficient donation opportunities.

As a liaison, you will contribute to HonorBridge's mission by fostering connections that save and heal lives through organ and tissue donation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Medical Examiners and staff within the HonorBridge service area.
  • Establish contacts among EMS agencies to increase referrals from outside sources.
  • Provide education, information, and consultation as needed to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the donation process.
  • Collaborate with HonorBridge staff to promote teamwork and success.
  • Serve as a representative for HonorBridge at professional groups, including the North Carolina Association of Emergency Medical Services and the National Association of Medical Examiners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Active state Driver's License required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a healthcare or related field is required.
  • At least 2 years EMT or paramedic experience desired.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of operating room environment.
  • Experience in form completion and documentation.
  • Commitment to organ and tissue donation.
