ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Regional Operations Supervisor, you will have the chance to lead and nurture your own team of Amazon Associates. A primary focus will be on inspiring, mentoring, and coaching your team. You will be accountable for engaging your team during shifts to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, performance, and engagement. To achieve these goals, supervisors are expected to equip their associates with the necessary tools for success while driving productivity and efficiency through data-driven insights and analytical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting all safety initiatives and OSHA compliance to ensure a secure work environment for all Associates.
  • Establishing performance goals and objectives to meet customer promise expectations while ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborating with the management team to set and maintain quality control standards.
  • Proactively identifying and leading process enhancement initiatives and Lean methodologies.
  • Creating and executing productivity plans by analyzing work forecasts, determining productivity needs, and partnering with other supervisors to balance labor.
  • Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates.
  • Communicating policies to associates and serving as the primary information source for the team, ensuring compliance and consistency while taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensuring adherence to procedures for building security and product loss prevention.
  • Developing, managing, and supporting recognition and communication programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in employee and performance management.
  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of experience with Amazon (blue badge/FTE).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean techniques.
