ConGlobal is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Gate Entry Inspector to join our global supply chain team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of intermodal units.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of inbound and outbound intermodal units using a computer system and/or handheld device.
- Control access into and out of facilities, supporting on-site logistics and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions.
- Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Computer literacy and proficiency in software applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
