Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Merch Associate to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and removing trash and debris.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and mobile payments.
  • Support visual merchandising efforts, including creating visually appealing displays and maintaining a consistent store image.
  • Participate in store recovery efforts, including cleaning and organizing the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Work effectively with peers and supervisors to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store culture.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
