Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is essential for ensuring the functionality and reliability of our equipment and facilities. This role involves overseeing both in-house and outsourced maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct repairs on Raw Seafoods' mechanical systems and perform regular inspections of facilities to guarantee operational efficiency.
  • Utilize standard maintenance tools, including power tools and preventative maintenance technology.
  • Execute preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Work in varied conditions, including wet or cool environments and at different heights.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and enhance productivity.
  • Research and recommend advanced equipment options for upgrading or replacing outdated machinery.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and track equipment depreciation.
  • Oversee the disposal of obsolete machinery and the installation of new equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and generate reports on daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in facility management or a related field, demonstrating relevant skills and knowledge.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Ability to perform equipment inspections and facilitate necessary repairs.
  • Skilled in identifying machinery faults and building hazards, initiating repairs as required.
  • Capable of analyzing problems, gathering data, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Quick decision-making skills regarding product quality.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
