Job Description

At Coast Sign, we are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in all our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
  • Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
  • Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
  • Work with the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
  • Resolve quality-related issues on time.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks
  • Good working knowledge with computers, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Be a team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Certification in quality control is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
