We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Lead to join our team at Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers. As a key member of our Design Engineering Services Group, you will be responsible for leading highway and civil design teams on major complex projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead interdisciplinary design coordination to ensure project elements are compatible
  • Oversee/create preliminary design concepts and alternatives for highways and civil features to support cost estimating
  • Develop project communications and attend technical meetings to resolve design issues
  • Prepare and implement quality management plans
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for the roadway design team
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer, preferably WA State or obtain within 6 months
  • Minimum of 10 years of civil/highway design experience required
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior staff
  • Experience developing construction plans for transportation projects
