Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the care provided by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Technicians, with potential supervisory duties in their absence.
  • Evaluate patient needs and implement appropriate physical therapy interventions while collaborating with the healthcare team to uphold professional standards.
  • Monitor and assess treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as necessary and communicating with physicians when required.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and regular re-evaluations of patients, ensuring compliance with quality improvement protocols.
  • Identify and address patient pain to enhance functional participation in rehabilitation activities, coordinating with physicians for further intervention as needed.
  • Develop and revise individualized patient care plans for physical therapy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state.
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.

Compensation starts at $50 per hour or year, with potential adjustments based on specific circumstances.
