Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the care of patients under the supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy technicians. May provide orientation for new staff and students and fulfill supervisory duties in their absence.
  • Evaluate patient needs, identify suitable physical therapy interventions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to uphold standards of practice.
  • Monitor and assess treatment effectiveness, ensuring the achievement of both short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals. Make recommendations to physicians as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough assessments on each patient and perform regular reassessments in accordance with established protocols. Ensure timely quality improvement scoring.
  • Evaluate patient pain levels affecting rehabilitation participation and implement appropriate interventions to alleviate discomfort.
  • Develop and revise individualized care plans for physical therapy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in the relevant state
  • Preferred experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification

Compensation: Starting at $50 USD per hour or annually, with potential for variation based on specific circumstances.
