Job Title: Senior Commercial Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all phases of the construction process from concept through completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, controlling expenses, and ensuring financial performance of projects.
  • Lead and coordinate the project team, including overseeing subcontractors and ensuring quality control standards are met.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including clients, management, and project team members.
  • Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety and building regulations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in estimating commercial and retail projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, contract negotiation, and quality control.
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • A professional certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) would be an asset.
