Job Summary

World Relief is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our finance and operations department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing financial data, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify direct assistance requests and ensure quality data is sent for disbursement, including compliance with grant requirements.
  • Create and provide direct assistance reports, including case-level reports.
  • Manage case numbers on the financial system and perform audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support program staff in troubleshooting direct assistance requests and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Oversee and implement procedures for spending, revenue accounting, and internal paper trails for proper accountability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 2 years equivalent work experience in bookkeeping and administrative duties.
  • Fluent in Microsoft software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task, and organize in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Our office is a general office setting with a hybrid and remote schedule available for limited positions. You will be working on a computer for extended periods, reading from a screen, and entering information. Year-end archiving activities may involve repeated lifting and bending.
