Position Summary
The Chief Operations Officer, in collaboration with the At Home Care team, is accountable for the overall success of At Home Care. This role works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to formulate corporate and operational strategies, ensuring these initiatives are effectively implemented across the organization. The COO oversees all operational aspects, including quality assurance, human resources, and internal systems and processes. A key focus of this position is to foster strong and enduring relationships between At Home Care and its clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational activities, driving business growth, marketing efforts, recruitment and retention strategies, clinical and regulatory compliance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Partner with the CEO to create and execute plans for the operational framework, including systems, processes, and personnel designed to support the rapid growth goals of the organization.
- Establish clear objectives and provide guidance on achieving community and regional targets, empowering team members to contribute to overcoming challenges.
- Develop, implement, and maintain efficient operational processes and systems that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Demonstrate effective execution of business strategies for the services offered by the company.
- Directly supervise subordinate managers and staff across all locations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant laws.
Qualifications
Proven experience and connections within the post-acute care sector or related fields (such as Home Care, Home Health, or Senior Living) are essential.
The Chief Operations Officer must possess outstanding interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and presentation skills. A solid understanding of financial management, grant writing, strategic planning, sales, community engagement, business development, and strategic planning is crucial for this role.
