Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to become part of our safety-focused workforce. The primary responsibility of our Class A Drivers is to operate routes across the Midwest, specifically from E. Chicago, IN to various destinations, accumulating significant miles weekly. This role involves primarily driving tractor/trailer-tanker combinations and may require travel away from home for up to 3-5 days at a time.

Compensation Overview
Annual earnings for drivers typically range from $95K to $120K.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Operate tractor trailer tanker units and other vehicles efficiently.
  • Transport fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors facilities to recycling centers.
  • Ensure compliance with weight regulations and proper utilization of vehicles.
  • Adhere to placarding requirements as per Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch records, trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid Class A CDL is required.
  • Ability to travel away from home for up to 3-5 days.
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 months of tanker driving experience is required.
  • At least 12 months of Class A Tanker driving experience is necessary.
