Nurse Care Specialist

Atrium Health Charlotte seeks a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to provide comprehensive nursing care via telephone triage protocols.
About the RoleThis position offers a unique opportunity to work in an untraditional nursing environment, assessing and directing patient care while collaborating with patients and their families.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient education initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Perform telephone triage with diverse patient populations, assessing needed care and providing clinical solutions.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop effective care plans.
- Participate in team conferences to assess patient education needs and ensure seamless transitions of care.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina required; ability to obtain South Carolina licensure desired.
- Experience in telephone triage, pediatrics, and ED triage is highly valued.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and health savings account.
