Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Watercraft Inspector to join our team at Waterfront Restoration LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting watercraft for aquatic invasive species, educating the public on the importance of preventing the spread of these species, and enforcing state laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect watercraft for aquatic invasive species at public water access sites
  • Educate the public on the importance of preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species
  • Enforce state laws and regulations related to aquatic invasive species
  • Assist with postings and educational materials at access sites
  • Participate in invasive species removal and other natural resource projects

Requirements:

  • Verbal communication and customer relations experience
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a professional setting
  • Willingness to work odd hours and in adverse weather
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Requires walking, standing, and moving about the boat launch area to a significant degree depending on traffic
