Compensation:
The pay range for this role is $16.30 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with food preparation and sanitation protocols in a safe setting.
- Assist in preparing and serving meals according to the prescribed dietary plans for residents.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Dietary Services Director.

Essential Skills:
- Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
- Competent in observing residents and responding to their needs effectively.
- Capable of performing physical tasks such as bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with food preparation equipment and emergency response procedures.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Two years of experience in the food service sector is advantageous.
- Must complete annual Tuberculosis (TB) testing and health assessments.
- Knowledge of sanitary food preparation standards is essential.
- Background checks and references are required.

Work Environment:
The role is set in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment, with occasional outdoor activities during resident events. Staff will be equipped with necessary protective gear when handling cleaning agents or dealing with hazardous materials.
