Position Overview:
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Adult Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC). This is a Full-Time position that focuses on delivering essential behavioral health services to military personnel and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary function of this role is to offer behavioral health support to military service members and their families. MFLC counselors engage in face-to-face counseling sessions that address various challenges faced by military families.


Areas of Focus:

Counseling services are supportive and cover:

  • Living conditions
  • Life skills enhancement
  • Improving interpersonal relationships
  • Stress management techniques
  • Adjustment issues related to deployment
  • Marital and parenting challenges
  • Grief and loss support

Additionally, counselors are involved in health and wellness presentations and collaborate with installation command staff on behavioral health matters.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a Behavioral Health field (MS/MSW/MA)
  • Valid and unrestricted counseling license or certification in North Dakota (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC)
  • Understanding of military lifestyle and family dynamics
  • Ability to independently create, implement, and assess safety and intervention plans
  • U.S. Citizenship and fluency in English
  • Ability to pass background and suitability checks

Preferred Experience:
  • Prior military service or strong familiarity with military culture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
