Job Summary

This position plays a vital role in maintaining a successful residential facility by providing support and encouragement to residents in their recovery journey. The Behavioral Health Technician will work closely with clinical staff and management to ensure that all rules and procedures are followed, and act as a liaison between residents and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and dispense medications to ensure accurate dosage and timely receipt.
  • Conduct regular room checks and facility checks to ensure safety and security.
  • Document information, observations, and concerns to provide accurate information to staff and management.
  • Perform light maintenance and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Transport clients to appointments and meetings to attend community recovery groups.
  • Answer phones and greet the public, providing positive public relations and accurate responses to questions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prefer 6 months experience in a related field or position.
  • If in recovery, must have two years of uninterrupted sobriety.
Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing and walking, as well as occasional lifting and carrying of up to 15 pounds. Ability to communicate orally and hear/understand oral communication is also required.
