Job Summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Lincoln Correctional Center in Lincoln, IL. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our incarcerated patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and guide patient teaching activities under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient care and treatment plans.
  • Perform non-professional nursing care duties, including assessments and interventions, under the supervision of a Physician or Registered Nurse.
  • Assist in planning individual treatment programs and implementing care plans in the Health Care Unit and housing units.
Requirements
  • Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Illinois.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety and Health Institute.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • One year of clinical experience preferred, with prior experience using electronic medical record systems.
