Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and medical director, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work closely with correctional staff and healthcare personnel to ensure the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer medications and interventions as directed by physicians
  • Document patient encounters, responses, and changes in condition
  • Communicate effectively with supervisory personnel, physicians, and correctional staff
  • Participate in nursing care and treatment teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as an LPN in the state of Illinois
  • Current CPR certification
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • One year of clinical experience preferred
