Your responsibilities will include performing quantitative analysis of program budgets, mandates, multi-jurisdictional fiscal plans and performance measures, as well as program and impact analysis. You will also participate in the preparation of budget reviews, including forecasting, trend analysis, and monitoring relevant policies and governing regulations and estimating the potential fiscal and policy impacts on programs.
Additionally, you will reconcile monthly postings and make necessary journal entries, review and approve procurement and other encumbrances and payments, and ensure compliance with county, state, and federal policies, regulations, grant, and audit requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, public administration, public policy or related field
* Two years of professional-level experience in finance, business administration, budgeting, or contract management
* Strong analytical, computer, oral and written communications skills
* Experience with governmental budgeting, accounting, procurement, and financial management, program support, and policy analysis
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Master's degree in a related field or CPA
* Considerable experience using Microsoft Office Suite computer software, particularly Excel
* Governmental accounting and financial systems
**Physical Requirements:**
* Job is generally sedentary in nature
* Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
* Ability to use a personal computer, including keyboard and mouse, and read a computer monitor
**Selection Procedure:**
* Panel Interview and may include a practical exercise
