Responsibilities
  • Assist in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care duties in the operating room.
  • Practice aseptic technique while assisting with all surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment for patients.
  • Ensure the readiness of the surgical suite, including preparation of necessary instruments and equipment.
  • Maintain professional standards by participating in in-services, committees, and staffing needs, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of patient care and services.
  • Perform moderate or waived point-of-care testing per CLIA guidelines, as required.
Qualifications
  • Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential is essential.
  • Technical/Vocational Diploma is required.
  • One year of experience in a surgical setting is preferred, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and service.
