Senior Electrical Engineer, Product Development Specialist

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer, Product DevelopmentWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Product Development team in the Heart Failure Division. As a key member of our R&D organization, you will be responsible for leading new product development activities, including requirements definition, feasibility testing, electrical design, verification testing, and component evaluation.
Responsibilities:- Lead electrical engineering activities, including design reviews and test execution
- Develop and execute electrical test protocols, write test reports, and develop test fixtures/automation
- Support cross-functional project teams and ensure program objectives are met
- Optimize electrical circuits and battery management systems through characterization, modeling, and data analysis
- Conduct root cause analysis for high-priority design issues
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field, plus 5+ years of experience
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field, plus 3+ years of experience
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience in electrical design and qualification
- Experience with Medical Device development or other regulated industries
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of sound design principles and practices
