We are a renowned collection of resorts located in a picturesque coastal region, dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for our guests. We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to enhance our financial team. This pivotal role will assist the Director of Finance and the Assistant Controller in managing the daily financial operations of our resorts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily financial activities related to revenue management for each resort.
- Support the preparation of bank reconciliations and other financial statements.
- Investigate guest disputes and manage chargebacks effectively.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Prepare reports for ownership as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Complete special projects and assignments as directed by management.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or payroll, preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Familiarity with USALI standards is required.
- Experience with ProfitSword and Acumatica is a plus, but not mandatory.
