Job Overview

Pacific Spice Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Lead to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training
    • Provide guidance and training to lower-level production employees on production duties and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Production Operations
    • Exhibit in-depth knowledge of all production roles and be qualified in all aspects of production operations.
    • Operate forklifts, production machinery, and other equipment to complete tasks such as loading, blending, processing, packing, staging, and transportation of goods.
  • Quality Control and Safety
    • Verify and enter data into the ERP system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
    • Comply with company policies and procedures for the Food Defense Program and the GMP and Glass programs.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Forklift experience and knowledge of machines and tools.
    • Computer skills in Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with all aspects of production responsibilities.
