Your Role:
The Senior Manager of Customer Base Strategy will oversee the customer base for the SafeLink brand and Government Discount Programs (GDP) across various Value brands within our portfolio. Your primary objectives will include minimizing customer churn and enhancing service revenue growth while ensuring compliance with program regulations.
You will be responsible for designing and executing targeted base campaigns informed by data and customer insights, while also identifying additional opportunities to meet the KPIs set for the GDP. Your strategic and analytical thinking will be crucial as you keep the low-income customer at the forefront of your initiatives, guiding ideas from conception through execution and subsequent analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall Management:
- Lead the creation and execution of base management strategies that enhance engagement with SafeLink and GDP offerings, thereby increasing customer tenure.
- Develop data-driven, targeted strategies to communicate prioritized and personalized messages that benefit both the customer and Verizon.
- Establish, maintain, and refine the annual roadmaps and plans for Base Management concerning the SafeLink brand and the GDP non-SafeLink brands.
- Monitor the effectiveness of all GDP campaigns, making necessary adjustments to achieve objectives and improve future initiatives.
- Articulate your GDP marketing strategy, churn factors, and campaign outcomes to stakeholders and leadership through comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial Brand Team leads, Business Intelligence, Marketing Communications, and more, to define objectives and implement targeted strategies.
- Ensure all projects align with established strategies and manage timelines effectively, providing team members with the necessary information.
- Inspire and mentor the GDP Base Management team to achieve exceptional performance.
- Commercial Government Offers:
- Act as the primary contact and subject matter expert for your Commercial Government Brand team.
- Collaborate with internal partners to assess the base impact of commercial value propositions and legal requirements.
- Design and implement targeted marketing strategies for commercial offers, prioritizing initiatives to meet brand objectives.
- Restricted Base Management Offers:
- Identify brand-specific opportunities and develop strategies to unlock additional benefits.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of restricted offers, including needs assessment, target refinement, business case development, creative execution, campaign launch, and results analysis.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least six years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
- MBA is preferred.
- Experience in the wireless or telecommunications sector with knowledge of backend functionalities.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify unique solutions to complex challenges.
- Experience in strategic marketing planning and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in managing and analyzing large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas to diverse stakeholders.
- High proficiency in G Suite, Jira Atlassian, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with additional tools is a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong business acumen in Brand Management and Product Marketing.
- Ability to influence discussions at the executive level.
- Capacity to adapt strategies in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with designated office days as determined by your manager.
