Position Summary

As an Aerospace Supply Chain Assurance Coordinator, you will serve as a crucial intermediary between our aerospace clients and their suppliers, focusing on enhancing delivery efficiency. Your role will involve monitoring, verifying, and expediting the status of part deliveries in real-time. Candidates should possess substantial manufacturing expertise, particularly in root cause analysis, and demonstrate strong communication skills to foster effective relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the progression of critical components through the supplier's manufacturing process, from raw materials to delivery.
  • Collaborate proactively with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries to aerospace clients.
  • Identify potential delivery setbacks by assessing risks, conducting root cause analyses, and formulating recovery strategies to align shipments with client expectations.
  • Generate daily status updates and communicate strategies and actions to all relevant stakeholders, including aerospace manufacturers.
  • Evaluate production processes and pinpoint opportunities for enhancements, preparing presentations and leading discussions.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of manufacturing experience, ideally in machine shops or sheet metal environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain management, production control, procurement, business, quality assurance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PCB processes is a plus.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives or possession of Six Sigma certification is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with basic Excel skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a background check and drug screening.
