Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant & Unit Secretary to join our team at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center's Intermediate Care Unit. This role will provide exceptional patient care, administrative support, and facilitate workflow within the nursing unit under the supervision of an RN.

Responsibilities:
• Assist RNs in providing patient care based on psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age-specific needs
• Perform clerical, receptionist, and administrative support functions for the nursing unit
• Facilitate workflow, communicate information, and transcribe physician orders under the supervision of an RN
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and actively participate in patient satisfaction
• Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care
• Provide excellent communication between staff and patients/customers

Requirements:
• Completion of an OSBN-approved CNA-2 training program
• Knowledge of medical terminology gained through education or experience in a healthcare setting
• Previous CNA and/or clerical experience required
• CNA 2 certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
