Job Description- Provide high-quality patient care as a member of our cardiovascular team, working closely with surgeons, NPs/PAs, RNs, MAs, and support staff.
- Rounding/case management responsibilities in the CCU, with additional duties including care coordination, medication management, and discharge planning/referrals.
- Ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or an accredited Physician's Assistant program approved by the American Medical Association.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the CCU, with consideration given to applicants who have completed a prior rotation in CCU as part of their advanced practitioner program.
- Licensure/Certifications: A Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) along with a DEA certificate, or a Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants along with a DEA certificate.
- Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified by American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
