Data Center Hardware Specialist

Job Summary:
Collabera is seeking a skilled Data Center Hardware Specialist to join our team. As a Data Center Hardware Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and sorting components from boards or pallets. You will also prepare parts for testing, conduct basic repairs, and handle pass/fail criteria. If parts fail testing, they will be destroyed or shredded. If they pass, they will be shipped for reuse or other recovery.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect and evaluate components from boards or pallets
• Prepare parts for testing and conduct basic repairs
• Handle pass/fail criteria and determine the fate of components
• Collaborate with the team to resolve complex hardware infrastructure issues
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in hardware support or a related field
• IT background and familiarity with computer components and cybersecurity
• MS Office proficiency, particularly in Excel for data entry and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
