We provide our supervisors with monthly training and resources on various leadership and development topics tailored to the veterinary field. Your achievements are our achievements, and we work together as a cohesive unit, connecting you with 10 additional specialty hospital supervisor teams to facilitate growth, learning, and information sharing. Our goal is to create effective, fulfilled teams, maintain happy and healthy hospitals, and ensure overall career satisfaction.

Compensation: $36 - $40 per hour, depending on skill set, experience (5 years), and licensure status (LVT, VTS).

Potential Schedule: Full-time (4) 10-hour shifts, holiday rotation, and flexible scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities of the Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor:

  • Utilize full technician skills effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members across all hospital services.
  • Provide coaching and support to associates to enhance their success.
  • Engage in some regional travel as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication regarding ideas, policies, standards, and performance.
  • Offer constructive feedback on associate performance and work with leadership to develop improvement plans.
  • Support associates in their career paths through VTNE guidance, licensure assistance, and scheduling.
  • Maintain skill proficiency and knowledge.
