We are seeking an experienced licensed veterinary technician to join our Surgery team at VCA VREC Westbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our team of veterinarians and veterinary technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procedural anesthesia monitoring
  • Ability to calculate drug doses
  • Full Technician Skill Utilization, bronchoscopy, endoscopes, and more
  • Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams
  • Venipuncture / IVC placement
  • Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
  • Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
  • Providing compassionate care for all patients
  • Paid on-call availability
  • Ability to work additional hours if necessary
