Job Description

Position Overview

This role is primarily situated within a dynamic medical office environment, necessitating flexibility to travel across multiple practice locations as required. Weekend rotations at designated facilities may also be part of the responsibilities.

Incentive: This position includes a commitment incentive totaling $10,000, distributed over a three-year period, with an initial payment of $2,500 upon hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily clinical assignments to ensure effective coverage, streamline patient flow, and deliver exceptional care. Collaborate with management and medical staff to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a patient-centered environment.
  2. Act as a clinical and administrative resource, facilitating communication between nursing staff, physicians, and management. Address patient concerns and support staff in delivering high-quality care.
  3. Contribute to the development and enforcement of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Evaluate care quality and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Provide direct patient care while maintaining the required competencies of a Registered Nurse. Ensure that nursing staff are adequately trained in clinical procedures.
  5. Manage inventory of clinical supplies and equipment, assisting in budget adherence and cost-effective product selection.
  6. Uphold the ethical standards of nursing practice and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
  7. Assist in onboarding new staff and developing training programs to enhance staff competencies and performance.
  8. Collaborate with medical professionals to tailor clinic operations to meet the specific needs of patient populations.

Qualifications:

Education: Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree (ADN), or Bachelor's Degree (BSN) required.

Licensure/Certification: BLS certification is mandatory. Must hold a valid RN license in North Carolina.

Experience: A minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred. Supervisory experience is advantageous.

Skills: Proficient in interpreting clinical information and technical procedures. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical scenarios and effectively solve problems.
