  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the shop.
QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Communication Skills

Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English is required. The role necessitates the ability to read and understand written work orders and to engage respectfully with colleagues and customers.

Analytical Skills

Common sense reasoning is essential for following verbal and written instructions and adhering to established safety protocols while operating shop equipment and tools.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to operate tools such as compressed air hoses, heat guns, and vacuum cleaners.
  • Daily activities include walking, sitting, standing, crouching, kneeling, and bending, often for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hands for reaching, handling, and feeling is required.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for close and distant tasks, with the ability to adjust focus and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Medium to heavy noise levels are typical.
  • Physical exertion required is medium to heavy.
  • Work is conducted in a workshop environment with exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Use of industrial-grade chemicals is part of the job.
  • Proximity to moving vehicles is a regular aspect of the role.
