Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Pacific Dental Services. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists in gaining patient commitment for optimal treatment with urgency
- Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing patients on optimal treatment while addressing their individual needs and concerns
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment for patients, preparing them for treatment and supporting our doctors in delivering efficient and quality dental care
- Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as directed by the dentist
- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with ADA guidelines
- Ensure strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and HR policies
- Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, with specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
- Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
