Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys and evaluations of healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilize expertise in clinical social work to assess the quality of care provided by healthcare facilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided by healthcare facilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and facility administrators to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Maintain current licensure to practice as an LCSW and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work.
  • Successful completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
  • At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis.
