We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Utility Construction Foreman to join our team at Apex Companies, LLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and repair of critical stormwater infrastructure across the central states.
Key Responsibilities:- Construct and repair underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins
- Operate advanced construction equipment, including skid loaders, excavators, and dozers
- Travel to various project locations, exploring new areas while making a significant impact on our projects
- Master pioneering construction techniques and regulatory compliance strategies
- Document field observations to aid in project success and drive continuous improvement
- Prioritize safety on every project, safeguarding yourself and your team
- 3 to 4 years of experience in pouring and finishing concrete, heavy equipment operation, and wet utilities
- Ability to travel Monday through Friday, with travel required 85% of the time
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Comprehensive understanding of OSHA safety practices
- Prior experience leading a crew
- Year-round full-time work
