Job Title: Sheet Metal Foreman

Hamlin Air Conditioning & Sheet Metal Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of commercial HVAC sheet metal systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the assembly and installation of sheet metal ductwork for air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units.
  • Determine sequence of installations by reading plans and working drawings, and perform field take offs and jobsite material inventories.
  • Complete and maintain work site paperwork, including accident reports, material requisitions, RFI's, T&M tickets, daily logs, SDS sheets, logbooks, daily timecard verification, and weekly jobsite inspection forms.
  • Accountability for man hours and material costs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience supervising commercial sheet metal crews.
  • Knowledge of SMACNA requirements and local and state codes.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Ability to write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
  • Possess good verbal communication skills.
  • Basic competence in sheet metal mathematics.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work well and communicate with others.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and clear government background check for base access.
  • Must be able to handle demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 lbs., repetitively.
  • Must be able to physically perform frequent ladder work.
  • Must adhere to all OSHA and Hamlin Air Conditioning and Sheetmetal's safety policies and procedures.
