Dirt Foreman

Webber, LLC is seeking a skilled Dirt Foreman to manage and assist a team of craft workers in performing their assigned duties under close supervision.

This is a key role in our construction team, requiring strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to interpret blueprints and construct projects accordingly.

1. Manage and supervise a team of skilled craft workers in day-to-day production of projects
2. Exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and ensure compliance with equipment safety protocols
3. Order and manage tools and equipment
4. Interpret blueprints and plans to construct projects
5. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
6. Provide leadership and guidance to team members

1. Five (5) years of experience managing crews on highway projects
2. Lift, push, or pull and move up to seventy (70) pounds
3. Climb, kneel, twist, and bend in various environments
4. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers
5. Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications
6. Valid driver's license for occasional, required travel
7. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
8. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
9. Ability to physically maneuver by foot minor obstacles at construction projects
10. Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
