About the Role

We are seeking a positive and energetic individual to join our team as a Crew Member at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our fans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be an ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Enthusiastically greet and welcome fans to the Dairy Queen brand, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Strive to exceed fan expectations by delivering timely and quality service, exceeding their expectations.
  • Prepare food products quickly and accurately, adhering to restaurant, health, and safety standards.
  • Properly and safely operate and maintain restaurant equipment, including grills, fryers, freezers, and other cooking equipment.
  • Complete assigned preparation work for stocking and setting up the grill area, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Calmly solve fan concerns and adhere to Dairy Queen's service recovery standards.
  • Be a willing team player, maintaining a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with management and fellow team members.
  • Create and maintain a positive, safe, clean, and inviting environment for fans and team members.
  • Exhibit a genuine passion for excellence and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Communicate positively with fans and co-workers constantly during shifts, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Work well under pressure-packed situations while maintaining a great attitude, adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Be comfortable standing for the entire shift and able to lift 50 pounds, ensuring physical demands are met.
  • Ability to handle raw, frozen, and cooked food products, as well as products in and out of the temperature danger zone.
  • Practice established food handling procedures and meet any local health regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, and promptness, setting a positive example for others.
  • Have fun and maintain a positive attitude at all times, creating a welcoming environment for fans.
