Parts Sales Representative

As a key member of the Quality Equipment team, the successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive parts and service sales. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to address customer concerns and provide solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market and promote parts and service sales through various channels, including special promotions and quality assurance packages.
- Communicate customer complaints to the appropriate departments to ensure timely resolution and maximum customer satisfaction.
- Provide parts and service solutions to customers, including maintenance and repair services.
- Assist with counter sales and support customer needs, including weekend work as required.
- Responsible for the coverage, retention, development, and acquisition of customers within an assigned territory or sales market.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collect and update customer equipment information for use in parts, service, and sales marketing promotions.
- Deliver parts to customers as required, including pulling parts and loading for the day.
- Provide feedback on pricing and promotions of competitors.
- Regularly clean and maintain company vehicles to protect company assets and represent Quality Equipment professionally.
- Attend required training meetings to promote employee and dealer development.
- Provide constructive input on parts and service marketing plans.
- Assist with after-hours parts phone service, when necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year experience in parts department operations.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications, such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- AG background, preferred.
- Valid driver's license for potential driving situations.
- Maintain driving records per insurance carrier standards.
Physical Demands:
Weight Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Mobility:
Squatting, bending, lifting, reaching, twisting, standing, sitting, and repetitive keyboarding for long durations.
Visual:
Working with PC, smart devices, and close detailed work.
Driving:
Occasional - Short and long distances.
Dexterity:
Ability to grasp and manipulate standard tools and office equipment.
