About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Application Specialist to join our team at Rhino Tool House. As a key member of our client-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients in the manufacturing segment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical aptitude, with the ability to comprehend technical product data and troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, are essential for this role.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that improve their productivity, quality metrics, and factory ergonomics. This will involve supporting equipment installations, troubleshooting, and providing technical assistance.

As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues, as well as external partners and vendors.

We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support client equipment installations and ongoing troubleshooting
  • Provide exceptional customer relations and technical support
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with client personnel and colleagues
  • Program equipment with various software suites
  • Participate in bi-weekly design meetings to discuss project status and pipeline
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Friendly, positive, and resilient attitude
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to comprehend technical product data
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent factory experience
  • Familiarity with lockout/tag out procedures and heavy industrial plant safety protocols
  • Proficiency with communication networks, field bus, and industrial DC power tool programming

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Engineering degree
  • Prior industrial or manufacturing factory experience
  • Knowledge of hoists, bridge crane systems, torque arms, and lift assists

Location: Fargo / Moorhead

Travel: Up to 25%

Reporting To: Great Plains Regional Manager and Service General Manager
