Job Summary:

Hilton Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Operate the dishwasher to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of all items.
  • Scrub and clean pots, pans, and other cooking equipment to remove food residue and stains.
  • Burnish, de-tarnish, and polish silverware to maintain its shine and luster.
  • Stock and maintain supplies and equipment, including dish soap, sponges, and cleaning solutions.
  • Transport and store clean serviceware, ensuring that it is properly labeled and stored.
  • Prepare and place clean serviceware for events and functions, ensuring that it is presented in a clean and organized manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a dishroom or similar environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
