Director of Assisted Living Operations

The Director of Assisted Living Operations at Brightview Senior Living, LLC is a key leadership position that requires a strong passion for delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Assisted Daily Living Services (ADLs) to our residents, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities- Select, build, coach, and supervise a team of Medication Technicians (MedTechs) and Resident Assistants (RAs) to provide high-quality care to our residents.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust work schedules to ensure adequate staffing to meet our Brightview service standards and budget.
- Conduct routine rounds of the community to ensure that our residents are receiving the highest level of care.
- Participate in initial and ongoing resident assessments to identify needs and changes in condition.
- Assist in the development of the Resident Services Plan and participate in regular resident and family meetings.
- Help conduct new hire training and monthly in-service trainings to ensure that our staff is equipped to provide the best possible care.
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare, social science, or business discipline.
- Minimum of three years' experience working in a healthcare, senior living, or strong service environment.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a 24 x 7 environment.
- Ability to lead, direct, and motivate others to innovate and excel.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group of associates, residents, and family members.
- Ability to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex and/or sensitive issues.
- Excellent written communication skills, including proper grammar and professional writing.
- Ability to read at a level to understand care notes and written directives of medical practitioners.
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
