About the Role

Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our Lunar Permanence business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the execution of technical standards and compliance for our Blue Moon lander product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical standards and compliance plans for our Blue Moon lander product lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NASA and Blue Origin requirements.
  • Lead the production and closure of requirement variances and deviations.
  • Track and report metrics on technical standards and compliance progress.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure the development of high-quality systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in technical standards and compliance for complex systems.
  • Experience with NASA development programs and requirements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Blue Origin's SLD Program.
  • Experience with requirements and verification tracking tools.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with NASA design and certification standards for human spaceflight.
